Sounds & Sights Auditions

Thank you for your interest in Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights. Our auditions took place on April 20, and we are no longer taking applicants for the 2009 season. If you are a musician, magician, singer, juggler or street art performer and are interested in auditioning next year, please come visit our website in the early spring of 2010 for audition details. We'd love to have you audition for Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights!

2009 Audition Info

DATE: Monday, April 20, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

LOCATION:
Common Grill Restaurant
112 S. Main Street
Chelsea, MI 48118

PERFORMANCE DATES: Thursday evenings from June 25 to September 3 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Performances take place outdoors in downtown Chelsea, Michigan.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: There are 70 paying spots available on the schedule. Auditions are open to musicians, singer/songwriters, jugglers, magicians, dance troupes, artists, and other street performers. Be prepared to share a 3-5 minute sample performance with the local artists, committee members and merchants who make up our panel of judges. Selected performers can sign on for a number of performances throughout the summer. Applications available ONLY on day of audition.
