Chelsea's Sounds & Sights Kicks Off 4th Season

June 19 through August 28: Thursdays from 6:30 til 8:30 p.m.

Chelsea's Sounds & Sights on Thursday Night kicks off its 4th season on June 19 and runs every Thursday through August 28, from 6:30 - 8:30pm. A great line up of music acts, children's entertainers, and other attractions will perform at separate staged areas simultaneously in downtown Chelsea, Michigan.

Music Line Up

The music line up features a broad spectrum of music genre from Celtic, Folk, Blue Grass, Jazz, Classical and Country including recent Detroit Music Awards winners The Hummingbirds. Several Chelsea based groups and individuals will perform giving the series good local representation. Some of the more well-known performers include local radio host and Folk singer Matt Watroba, along with a few Bill Bynum, All About Eve, the Royal Garden Trio, and local favorites such as the Chelsea House Orchestra, among others.

Activities and Attractions

In addition to music performances, there will be a variety of children's attractions and activities including face painters, jugglers, magicians, and several new acts this year.  Back again are guided horse-drawn carriage rides offering a relaxing and informative stroll through the historic neighborhoods of Chelsea.

All the sites are walkable, and in between you can check out Chelsea's downtown stores, restaurants and galleries. Downtown retail businesses stay open late through the extent of the summer series.
